Renew your ORD Airport Watch Membership to Observe + Record + Report.
Please note: a valid U.S. government-issued driver’s license, state ID, or passport is required for membership. No other forms of identification are accepted. All applications are processed with a background check prior to membership approval.
Step 5 - Watch for an email from us regarding your membership approval or requesting more information.

Step 3 - Email the following for processing.
Email the following to OAW Applications Processing at appsoawboard@gmail.com:
the completed application form in .pdf format
a .pdf copy of your U.S. government-issued identification
a .jpg color passport-style photo of yourself
FYI: Application Processing & Law Enforcement Review
When we receive your completed application, U.S. government ID copy, and your photo, we will begin processing your membership. All applications are subject to law enforcement review and a background check. All background checks are conducted by the Bensenville Police Department. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. Please do not send your documents to the Bensenville Police Department as they will not be accepted directly.
If you are NOT approved, we will contact you and issue you a refund .
Step 1 - Download the OAW renewal application.
Download a copy of the application.
Complete all information requested, including your signature and date.
Save the application as a .PDF.
Step 4 - Pay the OAW Membership Fee.
The OAW Membership Fee covers a 2-year period from the month/year you are approved through the end of that month in 2 years.
OAW Members may request a renewal near to their 2-year OAW Membership expiration date. Member ID # is required to process this renewal. Subject to Background Check.

Step 2 - Prepare a .jpg color, passport-style photo on a plain background.
This will be used for your digital OAW ID.
AT MINIMUM – images must be at least 1500 pixels wide x 1500 pixels high at 72 dpi

How to Convert a Photo from Your Mobile Phone to PDF.
Photo to PDF on Android:
Open the photo: Access the photo you want to convert in your phone's Gallery or Photos app.
Select "Share" or "Print": Look for the "Share" or "Print" option within the photo details.
Choose "Save as PDF": In the sharing options, select "Save as PDF" to generate the PDF file.
Photo to PDF on iPhone:
Go to Photos, tap Share, then Save to Files.
Open Files and locate the image.
Send the image to your email, so you can forward it along with your OAW application.
OR
Open your iPhone Photo app and find the photo you want to PDF.
Select the photo and click the Share icon.
Choose the Print option. It should be at the bottom of your options list.
Zoom in on your photo - this opens your image in a PDF viewer.
Tap the Share icon again once you're in the PDF viewer.
Send the image to your email, so you can forward it along with your OAW application.
